Mukukmanipur is a place of natural scenic beauty and home to the world’s longest manmade mud-banked fresh water barrage that canalises Kansabati and Kumari rivers into the three drought affected districts like Bankura, Purulia and Medinipur of West Bengal for irrigation in summer month.

Jhilmil was another attraction of our team. We have reached Jhilmil from Ranibandh. We found hills and tribal areas. It is silent places and Jhilmil watch tower was the main attraction of us.
